You will be responsible for the day to day operations and management of Rudolph Care, working closely with CEO & Founder Andrea Elisabeth Rudolph. The role carries broad strategic, operational and organisational responsibility across the business. It requires a strong combination of strategic insight, operational execution and people leadership, as well as the ability to connect vision, culture and commercial performance.
As COO, you will join the Executive Management Team and report to the Board of Directors and CEO & Founder Andrea Elisabeth Rudolph. You will be entrusted with the following areas of responsibility:
- Organisation and leadership
You will be responsible for the overall day to day management of Rudolph Care and lead a team of 28 dedicated and highly skilled employees, including three direct reports. You will hold overall responsibility for Sales, Responsibility, Administration and Governance. As COO, it will be your role to ensure that responsibilities are clearly allocated, decisions are made in a timely manner and employees have the framework and support they need to succeed. You will also be responsible for maintaining and strengthening the culture that is such an important part of Rudolph Care’s identity and success. Through strong and empathetic leadership, you will support employee development, wellbeing and engagement while ensuring a professional approach to HR and organisational development.
- Strategy and direction
Working closely with the Executive Management Team and the Board of Directors, you will define and drive the company’s strategic direction with a focus on long term growth, international scaling and responsible value creation.
You will translate strategy into clear objectives and ensure alignment across the organisation to deliver results, always with respect for Rudolph Care’s values and our commitment to doing things thoughtfully and thoroughly.
- Operational excellence
You will be responsible for strengthening Rudolph Care’s operational foundation with a focus on operational excellence, financial health and the continuous optimisation of processes and partnerships. You will ensure alignment between day to day operations, commercial activities and organisational capacity, enabling Rudolph Care to execute efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality. At the same time, you will identify opportunities to make the business less vulnerable, more transparent and better equipped for future growth
- Governance, responsibility and board reporting
You will help ensure that Rudolph Care’s responsibility agenda remains integrated across the business and continues to develop responsibly and ambitiously alongside the company’s growth and international expansion.
In addition, you will be responsible for governance, risk management, key business processes and board reporting materials.
- Finance, growth and results
You will hold significant responsibility for Rudolph Care’s financial performance and overall business results. Working closely with the commercial leadership team, you will help secure continued growth and profitability across markets, with a particular focus on strengthening the company’s international position. You will translate ambitions into tangible results, create financial transparency and ensure a responsible bottom line that supports the company’s long term development and values.
A value-driven leader with an eye for brand, business and people
We imagine that you come from a position as CEO, COO, CCO or a similar leadership role. You have extensive leadership experience and are comfortable operating on strategic, tactical and operational levels alike.
You have a proven track record of delivering results, ideally within an owner managed, partner led or founder led company, and you have experience working closely with a founder, executive management team and board of directors. You have also worked with international commercialisation and the execution of growth strategies.
Industry specific experience is not a requirement, provided that you understand the dynamics between product, brand and sales within a responsible business context.
The growth journey Rudolph Care is on today requires a positive and proactive approach to challenges and opportunities. Most importantly, you take pride in doing things with care and attention to detail. You are passionate about working in a dynamic company with a strong focus on responsible growth and development, where service, customer satisfaction, professional pride and a deep appreciation for the company’s unique DNA are essential.
A mature leader with calm, stamina and a genuine interest in people
We are looking for someone with a listening, caring and clear leadership style. Someone who is confident in themselves, possesses natural authority and builds trust through integrity, honesty and presence.
You are comfortable delegating responsibility, setting expectations and making decisions, while always treating people with respect.
You thrive close to people, operations and decision making, and you have the stamina required to succeed in a company with high ambitions, strong values and many moving parts. You are able to work closely with Andrea while also challenging and questioning when necessary.
You are both professional and personable, understanding that trust is essential to succeeding in this role.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly structured and skilled at creating processes, operational excellence and results, while recognising that structure should never limit energy, ideas or creativity. You can create direction without closing down dialogue, deliver results without losing your humanity and remain calm even when everyday life is complex and constantly evolving.
